About Evangelical Synod Church
Evangelical Synod Church of Angola, is the fruit of the work of the Evangelical Alliance Mission whose Headquarters is in Switzerland. It was founded on 30th of November 1897, in Kalukembe District, Huila Province, Angola, by Heli Chatelain. A missionary, who was tenaciously opposed to the oppression of blacks and to the slave trade, which was a current commodity at that time.
